BJC is looking for an HR Operations Manager. The role will manage the HR team that supports all of our employees through the HR Hub. The HR Hub is a platform built to assist with HR questions.
This is a hybrid position. Must reside in the greater St. Louis area.

Role Purpose
Applying an understanding of BJC's organization and goals, leads strategic direction of team, streamline existing processes, ensure standard work for each process, continually review data to determine effective support model, develop roadmap for continual improvement and centralization of work.
Responsibilities
Demonstrates basic understanding of people management practices (particularly around professional development), active learning to respond to difficult management situations and ability to assess and recommend industry trends for improvement.
Understands and applies impact and success metrics, and leverages them to help focus their teams effort.
Focused on and responsible for their team’s productivity and collective impact. Scales workload using emerging ability to delegate work effectively; ensures tasks are completed without micromanaging.
Leads the delivery of team projects or “business as usual” activities.
Develops an ability to articulate a vision for the team and its members, contributing to career development and empowerment.
Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: onboarding and hiring, training, workload management & performance evaluations, conducting professional development plans as needed. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.
Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.
