Aston Carter Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst (Aerospace) in Saint-Laurent, Quebec
Excellent opportunity for a motivated Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst looking to grow their career in one of the leading Aerospace manufacturing companies in Montreal!
Description:
The FP&A Analyst who will be responsible for budgeting and forecasting:
Forecasting, budgeting and strategic planning (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and Statistics)
Weekly closure analysis and reporting for Orders, Sales, Operating Income, and Cash flow;
Monthly balance sheet and cash analysis/forecast and variance analysis;
Risk and opportunities to the monthly forecast;
Financial reporting process improvement projects;
Assist in preparation consolidated strategic plan and annual operating plan
Develop and managing overhead budgets, ensuring that all indirect costs are accounted for and controlled within the allocated budget;
Regularly monitoring overhead expenses to ensure they are within budget and identifying areas where costs can be reduced;
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in finance/accounting;
5 years of experience in finance role;
Strong Knowledge in Microsoft Office Software;
Strong analytical skills, detail oriented;
Highly organized and ability to manage multiple priorities;
Detailed oriented with strong accounting and finance skills;
Ability to work under pressure;
Focused on teamwork and collaboration;
Good communication skills (French & English);
Excellent communication skills both oral and written English & French proficiency
Must haves
Excellent Excel Skills, pivot tables, vlookups, creation of spread sheets
English communication skills
Experience as a financial analyst 3+ years
Assets
Bac in accounting or finance
CPA a plus but not required.
Project Accountant experience
Excel Macros
SAP
