Job Summary:Manufacturing Production Technicians work closely with the Production Technical Supervisor and production employees to support and improve manufacturing operations, including troubleshooting equipment and manufacturing processes, performing equipment maintenance, and suggesting updates to work instructions.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and troubleshoot processes, material, or equipment problems and recommend solutions to Production Technical Supervisor
- Recommend revisions and improvements to manufacturing methods and work instructions
- Develop, procure, or modify existing and new tooling, fixtures, and equipment
- Conduct time studies and identify areas for process improvements
- Train production employees on new tooling and manufacturing equipment
- Conduct routine maintenance on manufacturing and test equipment
- Assist in failure analysis, troubleshooting, rework/repair of non-conforming manufactured product to determine root cause
- Support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement activities
