Job Title: Lifeguard
Location: Saginaw YMCA, Saginaw, MI
Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour
Position Type: Part-Time (15 - 30 hours per week)
Benefits:
- $250 bonus after 3 months, or $1,000 annually

Description:
Are you looking to make a positive impact in your community while developing valuable skills in teamwork, leadership, and personal development? Join the Saginaw YMCA team as a Lifeguard! We are seeking responsible and dedicated individuals to ensure the safety and well-being of our members and guests at our aquatic facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor activities in and around the pool area to prevent accidents and injuries
- Enforce all pool rules and regulations
- Respond promptly to emergencies and provide first aid or CPR as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe environment around the pool area
- Participate in regular training sessions and staff meetings
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all YMCA members
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 15 years of age
- Strong swimming skills
- Ability to stay alert and focused for extended periods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to teamwork and personal development
- Lifeguard certification (training provided if not certified)

Please note that the next Lifeguard certification classes will take place at the following dates and time:
Friday - May 31st - 5:00p.m. To 9:00p.m.
Saturday - June 1st - 8:00a.m. To 6:00p.m.
Sunday - June 2nd - 9:00a.m. To 5:00p.m.
