DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Job Summary Responsible for the safety, delivery, quality, cost and profit within a complex and/or large manufacturing operation(s) performing forging, machining, and other value-add work for manufacturing customers. Role has full Profit/Loss responsibility for the division. Typical direct reports to the General Manager include department heads for operations, manufacturing engineering, division finance/controlling, quality, materials, purchasing, human resources, inside sales/customer service, maintenance and EHS. The role is supported by Corporate IT, Finance, Sales, Compliance, Legal, EHS, Communications and HR services. The role reports to a Group President who reports to the MacLean-Fogg President and CEO.

Job Duties * Ensure that plant operations comply with the appropriate safety standards and regulations. * Manage the team overseeing policies, procedures and processes designed to minimize costs and maximize production operating with a lean, cost reduction mindset. * Develop skills and acumen of direct reports and oversee the talent development for the organization. * Manage production control, quality assurance, maintenance, cost accounting, supply/logistics, distribution, human resources manufacturing and other tasks associated with plant operations. * Lead preparation and presentation of annual operating budgets including revenue, profitability and working capital targets. * Responsible for development, presentation, and achievement of long-term strategic growth plans. * Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, development, and performance of the division team. * Responsibility for strategic product-line alignment with corporate sales team, oversite of quotation execution and final decision making on pricing and order acceptance. * Oversee accurate reporting and actions therein for plant operations and maintenance. * Ensure that organizational production expectations are met on time. * Ensure a positive culture while continuously improving employee engagement and empowerment. * Develop, maintain, and assure adherence to standards including 5S standards. * Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience and Education * Comprehensive knowledge of the field's policies, procedures and practices especially those related to the automotive original equipment Tier 1 and Tier 2 components industry. * Perform complex tasks. * Lead and direct the work of direct reports. * Successful authority for personnel decisions and some impact on departmental budgeting, strategic planning and procedural change. * Demonstrated track record of successful delegation and team development. * Typically require a bachelor's degree and = 9 years experience with progressive responsibility.
