Job Title: Drafter
Job Description
The primary responsibility of this position is to develop and maintain design requirements including 2-dimensional drawings and 3-dimensional models according to standard practices, industrial standards, and engineering markups. The candidate will support existing staff by providing artifacts for distribution and assist the lead drafter in reviewing the work of junior drafters/modelers.
Hard Skills
Experienced in troubleshooting issues with Microstation
Experience working in a DoD environment
Experience with current and former drafting standards
Experience in design and drafting of mechanical and electrical products with Microstation
Soft Skills
Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally
Ability to work as a team member and independently as required
Work Site
This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Rockville, Maryland and some days remote.
Work Environment
Engineering Heavy Environment with state of the art Digital Engineering lab
