Tooling Technician II . Responsible for issuing specialized and high-cost tools. Supporting tool crib operations and performing hangar/tool crib set up.
What you will be responsible for:
● Monitor the calibration and unserviceable tool programs.
● Maintain tooling documentation.
● Work with IAA on determining serviceability/repair of tools.
● Accomplishing receiving inspection on tooling.
● Identify equipment and tooling shortages.
● Performing other duties as assigned and directed.
Qualifications:
What you will need to be successful in this role :
· Proven expertise in an AAR tool crib or prior verifiable tooling experience required.
· Knowledge of applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARS) and valid drivers license required.
· Must be able to work day or evening shifts, weekends and overtime
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
· Must have a minimum of 1 year related experience and/or training.
· Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred.
· Basic blueprint understanding and schematic interpretation skills preferred.
· Knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook, Knowledge of AAR StAAR tooling data base preferred.

Compensation:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $16.34 - $19.81 hourly. This range reflects the base pay for candidates who meet the requirements of the role, including experience, education, and location.
