Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a .NET Software Engineer in the Life Insurance industry, located in Rock Island, Illinois. This role focuses on backend development, primarily using C#, and requires collaboration within a team environment.
Responsibilities:
• Developing solutions using C# in a .NET environment
• Integration of systems through backend development
• Utilizing Blazor for .NET web app development
• Employing Azure DevOps for application lifecycle management
• Creation of SQL Server databases
• Participating in team discussions and collaborations in person
• Contributing to solutions with a proactive and solution-oriented approach
• Working with Agile Scrum and traditional waterfall methodologies in SDLC
• Managing and working with Git repositories
• Building and releasing through Azure pipelines
• Engaging in all aspects of new development projects Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a .NET Software Engineer, preferably in the insurance industry.
• Proficiency in Backend Development using .NET and C Sharp Programming (C#).
• Extensive experience in API Development.
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum and Agile SDLC methodologies.
• Proficient in using Blazor for web application development.
• Solid experience with Azure DevOps, Azure DevOps Services, and Azure DevOps Server.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server.
• Experience in DevOps, including build and release processes.
