Isaac Heating and Air Conditioning Accounts Receivable Specialist in Rochester, New York

JOB SUMMARY :

Responsible for accounts receivable operations, including payment processing and invoice troubleshooting.

This position would be ideal for an organized, data-driven multi-tasker looking to support a growing team and advance their career in a growing organization.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

· Maintain precise records of all incoming payments

· Job/Project Invoicing for paid in full, rebates and financing

· Post and export from Service Titan to Sage Intacct

· Review failed/missing payments and contact customers to resolve via phone/email

· Maintain AR email inbox and respond to requests within 24 hours

· Review/process any adjustments/refund requests

· Respond to disputes and record in Service Titan as needed

· Responsible for investigating and resolving any discrepancies in both incoming and outgoing payments

· Prepare and send invoices to clients

· Audit all receipts in a timely manner to ensure accuracy

· Create and provide reports to individual departments as needed

· Partner with accounting staff to ensure accuracy in finances

· Call on past due accounts up to 60 days/Assist Collections department as needed

· Other duties and responsibilities assigned by leadership

EDUCATION:

· Associates degree from an accredited institution in a related field or equivalent combination of education and successful experience is required

EXPERIENCE:

· 2 or more years of accounts receivable experience required

· Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Pivot tables, VLOOKUPS

· Practical understanding of ERP/Accounting Software required

· Sit or stand for extended periods of time

· Visual acuity necessary to utilize a computer monitor throughout the course of a normal workday

· Ability to perform repetitive keyboarding activities and operate general office equipment.

The starting base salary range for this position is $22-$24hr. This is the range of the base pay only, it does not include other components that make up the total compensation package of the position. If offered a position, your total compensation package will be determined by experience, location, skills, and/or education which may result in a total compensation package that falls outside of the provided range.
