We are looking for an Electrical Hardware Engineer who will be responsible for the design and implementation of control systems for painter and sealer robotic systems. This will require working closely with several other team members in the Paint Division to provide process driven system solutions. The approach of standardization, cost down, accuracy and increased efficiency is essential to meet both our internal and external customer expectations. You must be a customer-focused problem-solver who enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams and offers professional solutions. Primary responsibilities will include

  • Control Panel and Cable Design for Paint Finishing and Sealer Robotic control systems

  • Configure Fanuc America’s Paint and Sealer robots to meet specific project requirements

  • Attend Project kickoff meetings and take active participation

  • Obtain a clear understanding from the Project Manager and Team of what is expected from the Electrical Engineering group while clarifying any discrepancies

  • Follow project schedules to ensure deadlines are met

  • Specification of electrical components

  • Review and clarify customer specifications

  • Review electrical drawings for completeness and accuracy, release installation drawings including schematics for review with the installation engineer

  • Close Collaboration with Paint division team to provide process driven system solutions

  • Troubleshoot electrical circuits Ideal candidate will have the following experience and education

  • High School Diploma or GED Required

  • 3+ years of experience designing Industrial Control panels

  • AutoCAD experience Preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent relevant experience
