Riverton Hospital Gift Shop Volunteers assist guests with making purchases in the Gift Shop.

Volunteering in the Gift Shop gives volunteers opportunities to provide customer service and a welcoming environment to patients, staff and guests who visit the Gift Shop. Volunteers assist guests in finding items and making gift selections, take phone orders, and straighten store displays as needed. Volunteers will have the opportunity to learn how to operate a Point-of-Sale cash register system, help with store displays and merchandising. Previous retail experience is not required.
Volunteers are needed one day per week for a 3-4 hour shift. Available shift times are from 9a.m.-noon; or noon-4p.m. on Fridays.
Requirements: A consecutive 80-hour (6-month) commitment, which entails volunteering one day per week for 3-4 hours; Volunteers must be at least 18 years-old and must be fully vaccinated, including an annual flu vaccine. They must also complete a Background check and submit to a TB Test.
