Description

We are in search of a meticulous Credit Clerk to join our team based in Riverside, California. This role involves processing customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries within the telecom industry. The successful candidate will also be tasked with monitoring customer credit accounts and initiating appropriate action to collect delinquent payments. Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications

• Maintain up-to-date customer credit records

• Respond to and resolve customer credit inquiries in a timely manner

• Monitor customer credit accounts for any discrepancies

• Initiate appropriate actions to collect delinquent payments

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and Microsoft Excel to manage credit-related tasks

• Familiarize oneself with IBM AS/400 for efficient job function

• Use ADP - Financial Services for processing financial transactions

• Use Microsoft Office Suites for administrative tasks related to the role

• Adhere to banking operation standards and regulations

• Handle cash activity and check processing in line with company policies

• Understand and follow collection processes and credit regulations.

Requirements • Possess at least 1 year of experience in a Credit Clerk role or similar finance-related positions.

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suites is mandatory.

• Experience in banking operations, particularly in cash activity and check processing.

• Familiarity with collection processes and credit management.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with high levels of accuracy.

• Exceptional numerical skills and ability to handle large volumes of data.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.

• Ability to work independently and also collaborate effectively in a team.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.

• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field would be advantageous.
