DIETARY AIDE - ADULT DAY CARE/ SOCIAL DAY CAREFull Time PositionExperience in food service is required.The Regency Memory Care Club in River Edge, New Jersey is now hiring a Dietary Aide. The Regency Memory Care Club is a very busy memory care facility. We provide specialized social day care and stimulating activities for senior citizens with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.Position Summary:The Dietary Aide is responsible for the planning, coordination and serving of 3 meals plus snacks each day. Plus, creative snack making for special events and theme days. The Dietary Aide will ensure that our members are served delicious and healthy food each day.Job Type:Monday - FridaySome Sundays if needed and Holidays are required except for Christmas DayDuties:•Preparing members' meals•Portioning and serving of food items•Maintain all areas in a clean, orderly, and sanitary manner•Cleaning of dining room and kitchen•Sweeping and mopping•Clean and maintain work area and equipment used in food preparation•Disposal of trash and recyclables•Food production, labeling/dating•Restocking all areas with supplies•Food safety and sanitation•Weekly food shopping•Monthly supply orders•Storing food items properly at close of meal service•Contacting restaurants to arrange outings•Create snack plansValid driver license required for weekly grocery shopping and grocery errands
