Duties include:

The Revenue Specialist is an active rolefor Grand Hyatt Rio de Janeiro reporting to Revenue Manager and working in collaboration with Sales, Events and Marketing teams to maximize the overall hotel revenue for rooms through the implementation of effective pricing and distributionstrategies.

  • Oversee revenue management analytic functions to produce reporting that supports and evaluates hotel business strategies to maximize overall hotel revenue.

  • Produce accurate forecasts that help set hotel goals and outgrow the competition.

  • Together with the area leader, provide guidance and support sales and marketing initiatives that are targeted to meet the needs of the hotel.

  • Regularly interface with the sales, operations, and marketing departments, effectively communicating trends and tactics of our hotel and comp set to assist the teams with making strategic decisions.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years’ work experienceas Revenue Specialist in the hotel industry.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration; Finance, Economy or Hotel/Hospitality is preferred.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and time management skills.

  • Strong organization and analytical skill.

  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese and English.

  • Must be proficient in general computer knowledge, including Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds.
