We are seeking an experienced EHS Manager with over 5 years in the Environmental Health and Safety field. The ideal candidate will possess a Certified Safety Professional Certification (CSP) and have a strong understanding of OSHA, EPA, DOT, GMP, DHS, FMCSA, and NFPA regulations. Proficiency in electrical safety and knowledge of NFPA 70E is preferred.
Responsibilities
Utilize resources and skills to support site environmental, health, and safety activities to maintain compliance with government regulations.
Develop, implement, maintain, and improve various Environmental, Occupational Safety, and Health Programs.
Support a Uninterrupted Power Source (UPS) design and installation operation using battery technology as the power source.
Develop and maintain a training curriculum in accordance with the 'IEEE Recommended Practice for Personal Qualification for Installation and Maintenance of Stationary Batteries'.
Provide all EHS training and ensure consistency in content across training sessions.
Organize, plan, and execute class training sessions for all employees.
Oversee training in key areas: battery installation, preventive maintenance, rentals, materials handling, and safety.
Coordinate practical training with operations.
Manage and maintain training records and Learning Management System (LMS).
Develop and provide training analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
Participate and successfully complete all required company training.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
5+ years of experience in the EHS field.
Certified Safety Professional Certification (CSP).
Proficiency in understanding and application of OSHA, EPA, DOT, GMP, DHS, FMCSA, and NFPA regulations.
Knowledge and proficiency in electrical safety and NFPA 70E.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with construction safety and DOT regulations.
Proficiency in EHS, OSHA 30, construction, health & safety, compliance, and construction safety.
Work Environment
The candidate will be onsite in Ridley, PA, working Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. There may be required travel to other sites in Maryland once a month, with all expenses covered by the company. The position reports directly to the Director of Operations and will not have any direct reports, functioning as a one-person department.
