READING TUTOR  WITH SPECIAL EDUCATION EXPERIENCE NEEDED! We're seeking a talented, local reading and writing tutor to join our team and work with a young adult student on the Autism Spectrum in the Fair Lawn, NJ area. Tutor must be within 10-15 miles of the students home. We are looking for someone with experience working with individuals on the Spectrum or with Special Education. The ideal candidate will be patient, flexible and able to tailor their teaching style to meet the individual need of this student while fostering a positive and supportive learning environment. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: * Minimum of 2 years teaching/tutoring experience required * Special Education experience * Must be within 10-15 miles of Fair Lawn, NJ * Bachelor Degree or Higher * Teaching credentials is a plus. * Great personality with the ability to build rapport with students and parents * Strong computer skills * Ability to create lesson plans * Personal Vehicle * Access to the internet, a computer, and/or a smart phone WHAT WE OFFER: * Flexible Scheduling * Pre-screened students / families that fit your expertise and schedule * Ongoing office support * Ongoing access to resources * We manage the family and business so the tutor can focus on the student. COMPENSATION: $28.00 - $30/hour depending upon experience.
