APRIL 2025 START DATE

J. Hutchins, Inc is hiring street sweeper operators to join our team.

Applicants will hold at least a Class B CDL.

Drivers will be based out of the Richmond, VT office and will be running a sweeper, vactor truck and the occasional roll-off moves, when not needed on either of the aforementioned trucks.

Job Duties:

• Familiar with DOT rules and regulations.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Complete required pre and post trip inspections reporting necessary maintenance.
• General housekeeping of equipment and yard on a daily basis or as directed by supervisor.
• Individual must be able to lift objects weighing 50 lb. on a regular basis.
• Ability to climb in and out of the truck as necessary
• Perform all duties within safety guidelines set up by M.S.H.A. and company policy.
• Perform pre-shift inspections on equipment prior to startup.
• General knowledge of keeping a trucking log

\ Job Requirements:

• Applicant must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a clean Class B CDL driving record.
• Willingness to work in a team environment.
• Mechanical knowledge of equipment.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings including DOT physical, drug screen, and Motor Vehicle Report.
• Compliance with all OSHA/MSHA and DOT regulations.
• Ability to work 8-10 hours shifts while driving, daily. Specific hours and times will vary.
• No job experience required, we will train the right candidate.
