The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services, Research Center or BBN team:

RTX Enterprise Application Services (EAS), Finance & Automation/Performance Reporting and Optimization (PRO) team is looking for a Principal Specialist, Business Systems & Transformation Analyst (Principal Specialist, Business Systems and Transformation). Remote Opportunities.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop and support finance transactions, analytics and reporting. The PRO Earned Value Services analyst’s responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Earned Value Analyst: Perform transactional activities and analysis to support program EVMS efforts, provide guidance and subject matter expertise in:

  • Completion of Earned Value requests from the RTX program user community. Includes processing of Initial Baselines, Baseline Change Requests (BCR), BCWP (performance), Estimates at Complete (EAC/LRE), and Estimated Actuals using upload files and/or manual processing in APEX.

  • Maintenance of historical EV data in APEX (version control)

  • Updating various systems to support compliance to EVMS guidelines and policies

  • Processing various reports both manually and utilizing company bots (EV, BCR was/is, Control Account Plans, Name Runs, Actuals, etc.)

  • Revising internal instruction manuals for the latest updates and processes.

  • Customer Service:

  • Respond timely to all user community requests for EV services via the ticketing system, email, and Teams per our Service Level Agreement

  • Actively communicate with customers until completion of task, which may include: completion of ticket requests, serving as an EV subject matter expert, troubleshooting system issues, and providing guidance and information regarding further help from other departments.

  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and helpfulness and utilize the best option for quickest resolution between email, Teams, the ticketing system, or direct calls.

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically a minimum 5+ years’ experience in finance and data analytics and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree; Advanced degree and 2+ years’ experience.

  • Solid financial system and data analytics experience.

  • Process and load data experience across multiple systems.

  • Current U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment using multiple methods of effective communication with the team, user community/analysts, and supervisor(s).

  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment while maintaining or exceeding the Service Level Agreement.

  • Self-starter with significant attention to detail; excellent organizational skills and ability to work both solo and team projects.

  • Strong math and data analytic skills and an understanding of how it applies to the Enterprise, Business, and Project levels.

  • Subject matter expertise in Earned Value Management process and transactions.

  • Working knowledge of SAP, Business Warehouse, Analysis for Office (AO) and/or similar applications.

  • Knowledge of Raytheon EVMS Standard EIA-748 and EVMS Process Manual 10255

  • RTX EVMS Certification

  • Knowledge of MS Project and Planning/scheduling principles.

  • Experience working with multiple contract types (FFP, CPFF, T&M) and internally and externally reported programs.

  • Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

Required Experience:

Typically a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related discipline or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree

Requires advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of project management. Practical to substantial knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
