nVent Sr. Financial Analyst in Reynosa, Mexico

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
Prepare and communicate proactive analysis to support plant initiatives and be engaged in bringing standard processes and efficiencies to the plant
Prepare annual budget and forecasts for Reynosa operations
FA control, CER update analysis
Process adhered to SOX in Reynosa
Provide awareness of operations by lagging and leading indicators
Prepare reports on daily, weekly & monthly basis to assist in the tracking and improvement of safety, quality, delivery, cost and cash metrics
Drive the development of analytical tools and capabilities to better understand the plant's manufacturing cost structure. Types of analysis includes variance analysis for conversion and material cost, continuous improvement project analysis (Pre- and Post-project implementation), and financial risk assessments
Provide variance analysis of cost center spend vs budget, identifying trends and key cost drivers
Participate in and able to lead cross-functional projects focused on driving operational improvements in the plants
Lead the month-end close process which includes journal entries and loading results in the reporting package tool.
YOU HAVE:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting preferred, Master Degree is a plus
RCCM analysis experience
Experience with JDE
5+ years of experience in Financial Planning, Operational Finance or Corporate Finance
Demonstrates a high level of understanding of how key finance and manufacturing decisions impact the business units and forecasted operating results/cash flows
Experience with plant standard costing systems
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Proficient in all other Microsoft Office Products (WORD, PowerPoint)
Fully bilingual
