SOS International LLC Program Manager in Reston, Virginia
Overview This position is contingent upon award of contract SOSi is seeking a highly qualified Program Manager to serve as the Government’s trusted advisor to individual offices and to provide Project Management / overall leadership and guidance for mid-size team contractor personnel assigned to the contract (12-20 FTE). Essential Job Duties Ensure the project stays on time, within scope and within budget. Manages project operations to ensure production schedules are met, system resources are utilized effectively, and that proper relationships are established between customers. Responsible for cost, schedule, performance, and risk identification / mitigation on projects. Coordinates resolutions to production related problems. Directly enable the effective operation and management of this multi-person effort, including to ensure all staffing, reporting, and execution activities are within cost, scope, and the timing directed by the Government. Supervise personnel, provides monthly contractual reports to the government, and interacts with government personnel. Minimum Requirements Active in scope TS/SCI with polygraph clearance required. Bachelor's degree in business, military history, political science, international relations, security studies, or other related social science discipline. PMP or equivalent certification. (Required if less than 8 years of relevant project management experience). Seven to ten (7-10) total years of relevant project management experience. Five to six (5-6) years of relevant project management experience is acceptable with current Project Management Professional (PMP®) or equivalent certification level. A minimum of two (2) years of relevant project management experience working with the intelligence community. Experience managing projects involving technical support such as database development. Demonstrated experience in managing a large, dispersed team with members from different specialty areas. Demonstrated experience in providing timely reports and issuing resolution as it pertains to the program. Demonstrated experience in meeting project deadlines. Knowledge of information management systems, including web- based databases. Experience using Microsoft Office products. Familiarity with information management systems used by the customer agency and IC, including but not limited to, GoogleEarth, IntelMapper, Arc View. Familiarity with the Department of Defense Order of Battle (OB) information system known as the Modernized Integrated Database (MIDB). Preferred Qualifications Experience with managing intelligence analysis, focusing on military forces and order of battle analysis. Work Environment Government Agency On-Site – office.
