Our client is a multinational{rel="nofollow"}aerospace{rel="nofollow"} and defense{rel="nofollow"} corporation that designs, develops, and manufactures aircraft engines{rel="nofollow"}, helicopter{rel="nofollow"} engines, spacecraft propulsion{rel="nofollow"} systems, and other aerospace and military equipment.
Responsibilities
- Pull materials from cold storage, allowing them to acclimate per the specification.
- Cut materials to the correct size per the work order.
- Lay up the cut materials into a panel construction per the work order.
- Transfer the panel constructions into the platen press, which has been adjusted to the correct temperature per the work order.
- Operate the press to perform the correct burp cycle for optimum removal of volatiles.
- Remove the panel constructions from the platen press after being cured for the specified time.
- Record press processing information on work orders to maintain the traceability of panels.
- Trim panels on CNC machine to work order-specified dimensions.
- Palletize completed panels for shipping.
- Maintain storage conditions for temperature-sensitive materials.
Skills
- 2+ years relevant, steady work history is preferred, manufacturing a plus
- Good basic math skills, Able to speak/read/write English proficiently
- Legible handwriting/printing
- Ability to balance multiple tasks/priorities
- Must be able to pass a Background check and Drug test
Must be a US person (American passport or birth certificate or Greencard)
Pay - $20
Location: Marysville, WA
1st Shift: 5:00 am to 1:30 pm Monday through Friday
Contract to hire: 03/13/2025 to 12/08/2025 (9 months)<
