A Kennel Assistant supports the team by restocking supplies and cleans the hospital facility, tools, and equipment. The role is heavily focused on cleaning and is a great opportunity to learn the flow of an emergency and specialty veterinary hospital from the ground up.

As a Kennel Assistant, you will play a huge part in helping the team be prepared for any emergency.
Kennel Assistant Pay: $19.95 - $22.40 / hour
We offer competitive pay with night and weekend shift differentials and opportunities for growth!
As a Kennel Assistant, you will:
Learn the signs of health concerns, be aware of these, and report to senior staff.
Clean and disinfect areas of the hospital as often as is necessary to maintain high standards of care.
Effectively clean and maintain hospital equipment and tools.
Remove and wash soiled laundry and keep clean laundry stocked.
Ensure cleanliness by completing deep cleaning tasks to maintain hospital sanitization, help maintain safety standards of the hospital, and maintain hospital organization by restocking.
Perform other job duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Ability to work in a busy hospital environment and proactively identify tasks required to ensure hospital cleanliness.
Demonstrated calm demeanor.
Communication skills
Basic knowledge of safe domestic animal husbandry skills, or ability to develop knowledge quickly. We will train the right applicant without experience.
