SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the assigned leader, this position supports the analysis, design, coding, testing and implementation of new and existing application systems used within Renown Health entities with a clinical focus. This position works with the user community to resolve operational and technical problems, application performance issues as well as support optimization and enhancement efforts. This position participates in the design, configuration, testing and supporting of files and system changes within assigned products and scope, including system administration functions. This position is required to remain current with ongoing healthcare industry advancement and IT functions. This position will serve as the primary clinical contact for external users for designated product(s), and will assist in leading large projects.
MINIMUM/PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing and speaking English. Bachelor's Degree in a health, science, or business field, or an equivalent level of professional experience preferred.
Experience: 5+ years experience working in a Healthcare setting, physician practice or hospital in a clinical role required.
3+ years in healthcare application configuration/build experience, with at least 2 year configuration/design and implementation experience in the application related to the position filled required.
Project Management experience preferred.
License(s): Ability to obtain and maintain a Registered Nurses license from any state.
Certification(s): Application Certification or Accreditation may be required on application(s) supporting. Must stay current on new version and obtain re-certification as applicable.
Computer / Typing: Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Access and Word and have the ability to use the computer to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.
