Job Description:
The Leidos Common Criteria Testing Laboratory (CCTL) is a leading provider of cybersecurity services, specializing in Common Criteria certifications. Established over 20 years ago, Leidos’ CCTL is one of the largest US Common Criteria laboratories in the world by volume of evaluations completed and certifications achieved. We are dedicated to ensuring the security and integrity of the products we test while providing the utmost highest quality of care for our stakeholders.
The Common Criteria (CC) Director position is a technical management position withing the Accredited Testing and Evaluation (AT&E) Lab within Leidos that oversees the Common Criteria Testing Laboratory (CCTL).
Primary Responsibilities:
The Common Criteria Lab Director is responsible for the overall management of the CCTL, including but not limited to the following:
Organizational/technical management
Staff/people management
Resource Management (tasking and hiring)
Short and long term strategy
Partner Management
Process improvement
Maintaining Common Criteria Accreditation through the National Information Assurance Partnership (NIAP) and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
Ensuring ISO 17025 and NIST HB 150 is being met in the execution of the Lab’s duties
New business opportunity lead
Respond to customer inquiries and meet with potential new and current customers about new work opportunities
Principal point of contact for NIAP/CCEVS/CSfC office
Represent Leidos in NIAP/CCEVS management meetings and workshops
A designated signatory authorized to represent Leidos to NIAP/CCEVS
Travel to various industry conferences to represent Leidos, including but not limited to: ICCC and CSfC conference
You Will Bring These Qualifications:
Expert Common Criteria knowledge
Expertise of both Protection Profile evaluations and Evaluation Assurance Level (EAL) evaluations
Experience with the development and maintenance of security certification standards
ISO 17025 and NIST HB 150 compliance experience
Collaboration with international stakeholders for contribution of materials to ISO standards
Working relationship with NIAP and CSfC office
CISSP (or similar) certification
Ability to execute all phases of a Common Criteria evaluation and related consulting services
Entropy knowledge
Knowledge of cryptographic encryption algorithms, key exchange algorithms, hashing/message authentication algorithms, PKI, random number generators, etc.
Experience with various programming languages and development environments.
Knowledge of common security related protocols and their design (i.e. SSH, IPsec, TLS, etc.).
Proposal writing / technical writing skills
Strong leadership skills that can be applied to fast paced commercial environment
Financial management skills
Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
Strong multitasking and time management.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Require BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology (or similar discipline) and 12+ years of prior Common Criteria experience, including 3+ years in a Common Criteria management position.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $122,200.00 - $220,900.00
