Description: A remote Fluids/Propulsion Design Engineer job is currently available at Belcan. This is a full-time, direct job with full benefits. Great matching candidates will have 7+ years of relative design experience with Aerospace or similar industries in Structural Design. You will be using 3D CAD Software for creating 3D Models in the office team supporting an exciting Space Rocket Company
Job Duties:
Perform design tasks on aerospace component such as secondary structures, machined and additive.
Design for manufacturability.
Experience with system and component level design in fluids/propulsion workings such as valves, regulators, umbilical/hoses/tubes and pressurized tanks from concept thru production
Create 2D drawings of components.
Work with the structural analyst to run analysis of component.
Communicate effectively.
Create detailed reports on work performed and track progress.
Required:
7+ years of Creo or similar CAD Software
7+ years of using Windchill or similar PDM software
7+ years designing structured and machined components
7+ years" experience or more using GD&T and creating 2D drawings
7+ years of aerospace experience
7+ years of engineering experience
Excellent Communication Skills
Preferred:
ANSYS or similar analysis software
Liquid Rocket Motor Propulsion/Fluids Knowledge
Leadership experience for potential growth
Compensation:
We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary of $95,000-135,000 however Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline. Benefits offered may include health care, dental, vision, life insurance; 401(k); education assistance; paid time off including PTO, holidays, and any other paid leave required by law.'
