Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to lead a world-class team and make a significant impact in a global organization? Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc is seeking a highly motivated individual to join us as a Sr Manager, Strategic Accounts Operations.

This role is part of the Global Business Operations Leadership Team in our services business leading teams and managing customer relationships. We provide biotech and pharmaceutical companies with enterprise level services with a full suite of technology offering.

Location Specific Information:

The ideal candidate can be based in US (preference given to those based in the East Coast) or Europe. There will be some travel expected to customer sites.

A Day in the Life:

  • Lead and develop a global team of strategic account managers. Retain, mentor, and empower talents.

  • Deliver towards customer commitment, contractual agreement, revenue and margin goals. Responsible for accounts retention, growth, and profitability

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize operational efficiency, enhance business performance and drive customer satisfaction.

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.

  • Be an active listener to Voice of Customers. Be able to translate customer feedback into strategy and plans that benefit customers and our business.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that address customer needs, drive growth and improve processes

  • Actively seek out ways to effectively implement changes and enhance overall performance

  • Remain informed about current trends in the industry and share fresh ideas with the team.

Keys to Success

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in similar role preferred (not required)

  • Strong leadership skills and can effectively lead a team.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish connections and collaborate with both internal and external individuals.

  • Outstanding problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a strong emphasis on achieving desired outcomes

  • Demonstrate financial acumen

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Willing to challenge status quo.

  • Proven experience in working in a highly matrix environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $117,000.00–$175,500.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
