ABBTECH Professional Resources, Inc. Informatica Developer in Remote, Pennsylvania
Our client is seeking an Informatica Developer to work with the Enterprise Information Management team to administer, develop, implement, and maintain Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and related Operational Data Stores (ODS). The candidate will contribute throughout the data management lifecycle process areas such as data acquisition, management, manipulation, and analyze of data and report results from an Enterprise Data Warehouse environment. The candidate will support activity to support REST API data integrations with Cloud provider, create related data marts on local system and ETL development for Cloud data integration and loading data to the data mart.
Essential duties & responsibilities:
• Work with Informatica Tech Lead, IT database administrators, systems administrators, and development team
• Work with the team to create a new data marts as needed in support of reporting
• Support REST API data integration flows to and from Cloud Provider
• Work with tech lead and users to deliver high quality data integrations using IICS API
• Support development, migration of data through ETL processes, revision, and update of DataMarts, procedure development, troubleshooting, system configuration, security administration, and account setup.
• Support the lifecycle of physical data models and data maps for data warehouse system.
• Aid end users and programmers regarding data warehouse related problems and issues.
• Provide technical expertise to end-users who create complex queries and reports.
• Coordinate, schedule, and tests upgrades to the data warehouse system.
Required Qualifications:
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree coupled with 5+ years’ experience in the information technology arena
• 5+ years’ experience in Enterprise Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence, analytic computing, data analysis, and pattern identification with various forms of data.
• 2+ years’ experience with Oracle RDBMS, PL/SQL & SQL Server platforms
• 2+ years’ experience in Informatica IICS
• 2+ years experience in working IICS REST API data integrations
• 2+ years experience using POSTMAN or related tool for APIs
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to perform data analysis, troubleshoot data integrity issues and strong analytical/problem solving skills.
Desired Qualifications:
• Experience in documenting and mapping interaction (source-to-target, source-to-ETL mapping) between business processes, information, and data for projects which are of medium to high complexity and moderate to high risk.
• Experience with reporting tools such as Cognos, Oracle Analytics Cloud & Microsoft Power BI
• Experience with Snowflake
• Familiarity with development methodology such as Agile, Waterfall and Systems Engineering
Position Details:
- Pay Rate / Range:$60 -$79hr
The above salary range represents the range expected for the position; however, final salary offers are based on a number of factors such as the position’s responsibilities; the candidate’s experience, education, and skills; location; travel required; and current market conditions.
