ITW Medical is comprised of two strong medical product brands – Coeur and Filtertek - situated to proactively meet the needs of customers in the marketplace. Coeur is a leading provider of disposable medical products used in diagnostic imaging and other medical procedures. The Filtertek product line is comprised of custom plastic insert molded filtration and flow control components for global OEM medical device customers.
GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:
This position will report to ITW Medical’s Global Sales Manager. The individual will be responsible for growing an assigned set of OEMs and targets, selling a portfolio of disposable medical products. The successful sales leader will employ effective market & account development strategies to meet Annual Plan growth targets and continue to deliver above-average margins to the division. They will meet with customers, assess and analyze their needs, understand pain points, drive development of differentiated solutions, and work with a team to effectively close sales. Success also requires building confidence with current and prospective customers in engineering, quality, and production capabilities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBIITIES:
Execute and deliver on Segment and Account-specific sales objectives, based on ITW Medical’s Annual and Long-Range Plans
Deploy ITW’s Growth Levers including Targeted Selling, Core Market Expansion and Customer-back Innovation to grow revenue, profitability, and market share in the segment.
Create stakeholder maps for target customers and develop key contacts.
Learn ITW Medical’s value proposition and lead customer outreach to identify, justify, and execute new business opportunities.
Own end to end customer relationship for assigned key accounts and work to develop a trusted advisor relationship to leverage for growth opportunities.
Accurately forecast product launches, ramp-ups, and associated revenues for Annual Plan by leveraging continued customer intimacy.
Support market intelligence gathering and gain expertise in key ITW Medical end-markets based on growth characteristics, competitive intensity, and other parameters.
Assists in developing and implementing strategic direction for ITW Medical Product Development teams
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, or similar STEM field preferred. Demonstrated technical aptitude a plus.
Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience; preferably in the Medical Device Industry.
Strong business analytical skills required, product and/or market management experience is preferred.
Demonstrated understanding of financials including working knowledge of budgeting, sales, and capital funding for growth required.
Demonstrated ability to conduct research, identify strategic opportunities, and develop sound business cases to convert on those opportunities.
Ability to work directly, and through teammates, to implement key strategies.
Must be able to foster, communicate and exemplify the values of ITW; act with integrity and trust, operate with simplicity, treat everyone with respect, take shared risk.
Proficient computer skills - MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
Must be a team player with excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with experience in communicating and working with a remote team.
Proven time management, prioritization abilities and demonstrated strong project management skills.
Must possess decision making skills necessary in an ambiguous environment.
Takes initiative; able to function autonomously and make independent decisions.
Proven thought leadership capabilities, innovative thinking skill set and the ability to drive change.
Must be able to travel domestically and internationally for 30%.
Compensation Information:
This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this role. Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, market level, other job-related factors, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law.
Pay Range: $95,000-105,000 annually, SIP 35%
