Healthfirst Sr Release Engineer in Remote, Florida
Duties & Responsibilities:
Work with Application Development, Infrastructure, and DevOps teams to define and implement deployment automation and CICD initiatives.
Participate in release and deployment activities of software packages and builds.
Analyzes, identifies, troubleshoots build & deployment errors and CICD pipeline issues.
Conducts root cause analysis and works with appropriate parties to remedy issues.
Identifies and propagates best practices and processes related to software release and deployment, CICD and DevOps.
Maintains documentation & knowledge transfer documents of deployment best practices.
Additional duties as assigned or necessary
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise applications with cloud technologies (i.e., AWS, Azure, etc.) and Operating Systems (i.e., Windows, Linux, etc.).
Working experience in scripting languages (i.e., Python, PowerShell, etc.).
Proven experience in software version control and CICD Tools such as GIT, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
Knowledgeable in best practices and processes related to software release and deployment, CICD and DevOps.
Preferred Qualifications
A bachelors degree in computer science/ engineering or related field
Knowledge and experience using GIT and GITHUB Actions, DevOps tool chain
Demonstrated experience in Cloud technologies (AWS/Azure) CICD, DevOps, Agile software development, Deployment and Release management.
Knowledge and experience in container orchestration systems for automating software deployments such as Kubernetes.
