Job Description
As Sr. Director, you will lead partnership pursuits, supporting the commercial team in strategic planning and account positioning/penetration strategies. You will facilitate cross-collaboration across the full enterprise within partnerships: Marketing, Business Insights, Innovation, Strategic Finance, etc. This role will ensure the highest quality, industry-leading, and innovative approaches for partnership strategy are readably available.

You will enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer by helping our clients and sponsors to understand how our clinical development service offering enables them to deliver life-changing therapies to their patients more quickly.
What will you do:
Create Targets : Supports with developing and actioning the integrated account plan. Review client pipelines and identify strategic targets; Identify gaps in intelligence & create actions; Create targeted engagement plans for opening market penetration; Use the support of Account Development/Business insights to reach out to targets; Responsible for engaging with expanded contacts in selected accounts
Client Engagement: Establishes centralized, professional messaging to be communicated regularly to customers to enhance their customer experience and partnership communication; Ensure selective process that influences decisions for partnership opportunities; Engage with clients to open new opportunities; Ensures effective and aligned integration of improvements and internal delivery of lessons learned/intelligence in new partnership opportunities: Increasing intelligence from conferences
Conversion and Transition: Deliver Partnership/RFP/RFI’s through conscientious approaches embracing the collective organizations capabilities; Create systematic, thorough groundwork for transitions with account teams; Enhances partnership implementation & maintenance activities. Works closely with partnership implementation teams to ensure best practice implementation for effective transition planning through the relationship handoff, from change management to execution.
Analytics: Ensure delivery of data packs and analysis to support client engagement: Works cross-functionally to continue to improve and leverage existing technologies and ensure resources are utilized for effective partner engagement.
How will you get here:
A bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, or a related field is the required minimum education; MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job comparable to 8+ years; strong preference for experience in a CRO, Pharmaceutical or Medical Device sales industry.
In some cases an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.

Ability to handle complex situations and multiple responsibilities simultaneously mixing long term projects with the urgency of immediate demands on the operations.
Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to judge situations accurately and quickly, grasping complexities, identifying key issues and applying sound judgment.
Ability to quickly and effectively build credibility and strong relationships at all levels
Strategic thinker with ability to uncover and understand customer needs and construct novel enterprise level solutions to address customer needs

Working Conditions and Environment:
Work is performed in an office environment with exposure to electrical office equipment.
Travel, both domestic and international.
Interaction with clients/associates required.
Long varied hours required occasionally.
Physical Requirements:
Frequently stationary for 6-8 hours per day
Repetitive hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists.
Moderate mobility required.
Light to moderate lifting and carrying (or otherwise moves) objects including luggage and laptop computer with a maximum lift of 15-20 lbs.
Ability to access and use a variety of computer software developed both in-house and off-the-shelf.
Ability to apply abstract principles to solve complex conceptual issues. Requires multiple periods of intense concentration.
Performs a wide range of complex tasks as dictated by variable demands and changing conditions with little predictability as to the occurrence.
Regular and consistent attendance.
