Stratasys is looking for a Current Product Engineer- Temp to join our Materials department R&D group.
The position is located in Rehovot Israel.
What you will be doing:
Provide engineering support to production line
Implement new product revisions (ECO – Engineering Change Orders)
Hands on lab work
Formulation and analytical work
Characterization of the rheology and kinetics of developed materials
Characterization of the mechanical and thermal properties of developed materials
Work with advanced analytical equipment such as Tensiometer, Izod impact, Rheometer, DMA, DSC, DLS, FTIR
Support projects in the CPE field such investigations & reformulations projects
Collaboration with other teams such researchers, printing quality, testing center, printing heads laboratory & production
Monitor, interact, report and provide support to the production line, including escalations management
Analyze quality issues and manage remedial activities to enable production line continuity.
Support 2nd source & cost saving activities from materials aspects
Responsible for building and maintaining Product/Production file, Product documentation, BOM, jigs/tools, instructions etc.
Must have for this role:
BSc degree in in Polymer/Plastic science, Material science, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
Background in polymers and characterization processes
Experience working with advanced analytical equipment- advantage
Minimum 3 years of proven experience in Production Engineering and Manufacturing facility
Technical approach and the ability to work in a team
Ability to work under pressure and flexible with changes
Good computer skill
Multi-tasking capability with tasks priorities and organized working methodologies
Ability to present technical information and effectively communicate across all levels of the organization Change agent with energy, passion, and enthusiasm to drive change
Clear thinker: Simplifying strategy into specific actions with clear accountability, making decisions with speed & accuracy based on best available information and communicating priorities clearly & concisely.
