The Source to Pay Solutions (S2P) team is looking for a Procurement Operations Manager to lead the strategy of our supply chain transformation investments leveraging Source to Pay processes and system changes to reduce risk, reduce cost and enhance user experiences.  This role is scoped to provide specialization in AI transformation, internal/external portal experiences including third party solutions, supplier onboarding, sourcing, support, and guided buying channels. This is a highly collaborative role where you will need to confidently work across the Microsoft Procurement organization at all levels to drive key initiatives and strategic projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise governance board across S2P enterprise teams across the company to govern strategies and technology decisions impacting ERP and financials

  • Provide leadership and apply a governance framework for supply chain technology investments and key decisions touching S2P processes and operations to ensure compliant and scalable solutions

  • Participate and represent S2P in 8+ various supply chain projects to understand strategies, S2P technology asks and align with broader S2P transformation roadmap and prioritization

  • Lead the execution, successful delivery and oversight of supply chain investments, continually documenting, monitoring and identifying ongoing opportunities for efficiencies in partnership with supply chain and engineering teams

  • Manage complex tool requirements, understanding downstream implications to ensure effective, efficient and compliant workflows/processes for both internal and 3rd party tools

  • Develop relationships with internal/external stakeholders and become a trusted partner to help achieve business goals and resolve/escalate issues through resolution

  • Create and manage project plans for releases, ensuring that key stakeholders provide sign-off on changes and operational teams are ready

  • Partner with supply chain project leads on project plan and project schedule to ensure that project deadlines are met, assessing project risks and issues and providing solutions where applicable

  • Develop and maintain process documentation and user guides for operational teams

  • In-depth understanding and experience running and managing technical development releases, with analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to identify systems strengths and weaknesses, passion for innovation and continuous improvement

  • Translate business needs into clear and concise business requirements and/or functional specifications

  • Coordinate activities for user acceptance testing and system test execution

  • Perform ad hoc activities to support the project and operational needs

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Technology, Finance or related field AND 6+ years work experience in program management, process management, process improvement

  • OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+years business experience in Procurement, Program Management, Process Design, System Design

  • Demonstrated analytical and strategic capabilities – synthesize data into problem statements, design project approach, gain alignment across teams, and drive initiatives through successful execution

  • Presentation skills - clear & concise storytelling and an ability to distill and deliver complex, ambiguous information to a variety of audiences

  • Experience making critical decisions in ambiguous situations,

  • Experience as a profecient user of Teams, Azure Dev Ops (ADO), OneNote, Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and analytics tools (PowerBI, etc.)

Business Program Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $115,000 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $146,200 - $219,200 per year.
