Job Description: Manipulate large volumes of data, create new and improved techniques and/or solutions for data collection, management, and usage. Improve Portfolio modeling through the use of Machine Learning (ML) or statistical modeling techniques. Design, develop, evaluate, and deploy software, algorithms, systems, or other data to automate processes and improve products, system performance, quality, data management, and accuracy. Run Monte Carlo models, assess risk metrics, and conduct Ad-Hoc data analysis as required by stakeholders. Telecommuting permitted less than 50% per week within same geographic location as assigned Microsoft office location.
Requirements:
- Education: Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science; Information Technology; Computer Systems; Computational Finance and Risk Management or related.
- Experience: Two (2) years of experience in data analysis and/or data management with large scale data mining platform.
- Specific Skills Requirements: Requires at least 24 months of experience in each of the following: ETL; Big data modeling and analysis; Business Process Automation; and Managing software or business processes for operations, systems, projects, tools or policies; 12 months of experience in Statistical Modeling; 6 months of experience in Python; and education or experience in Monte Carlo Modeling.
Pay Range and Benefits Information: The offered base pay range for this specific position (job code: TSSKD18280), in Redmond, WA, is $147,500 to $177,500.
Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.?
