Our client has a brand new opportunity for a qualified Business / Systems Analyst to join their team for a remote position and contribute to SQL, PowerBI, and Excel reports and breakdown and structure documents.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies

• Perform complex gap analyses across regulatory or other requirements in technical domains such as AI, privacy, cybersecurity, and cloud

• Gather requirements from internal stakeholders and translates those into analysis, reports, and dashboards to help produce data driven contributions for client business

• Track and analyze policy, industry, and regulatory related issues

• Demonstrate an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities

• Support one or more highly complex business processes

• Work on multiple projects as a project team member

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or related field required

• Minimum 2 to 4+ years experience required with

• Database knowledge and skills

• Familiarity with AI, cloud, cybersecurity, and privacy

• Knowledge or familiarity with standards, regulations, and policy

• Basic knowledge of programming languages to comprehend reading code and basic functions

• Ability to build simple relational databases, some knowledge of SQL server

• Knowledge of data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.)

• Experience or a background in audit, certification, and conformity assessment preferred

• Experience performing complex gap analyses across regulatory or other requirements in technical domains preferred

• Experience with international standards such as ISO / IEC 27001, 27701, 9001, 42001, NIST 800-53, etc. preferred

• Ability to exercise good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions

• Project management skills in order to handle diverse projects, often times simultaneously, and meet aggressive deadlines

• Ability to solve technical problems / processes and understand complex details

• Ability to analyze complex situations and problems and do the necessary research using multiple sources of information to arrive at innovative solutions

$43.60 - $48.25 per hour
