Our client has a brand new opportunity for a qualified Business / Systems Analyst to join their team for a remote position and contribute to SQL, PowerBI, and Excel reports and breakdown and structure documents.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies
Perform complex gap analyses across regulatory or other requirements in technical domains such as AI, privacy, cybersecurity, and cloud
Gather requirements from internal stakeholders and translates those into analysis, reports, and dashboards to help produce data driven contributions for client business
Track and analyze policy, industry, and regulatory related issues
Demonstrate an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities
Support one or more highly complex business processes
Work on multiple projects as a project team member
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or related field required
Minimum 2 to 4+ years experience required with
Database knowledge and skills
Familiarity with AI, cloud, cybersecurity, and privacy
Knowledge or familiarity with standards, regulations, and policy
Basic knowledge of programming languages to comprehend reading code and basic functions
Ability to build simple relational databases, some knowledge of SQL server
Knowledge of data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.)
Experience or a background in audit, certification, and conformity assessment preferred
Experience performing complex gap analyses across regulatory or other requirements in technical domains preferred
Experience with international standards such as ISO / IEC 27001, 27701, 9001, 42001, NIST 800-53, etc. preferred
Ability to exercise good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
Project management skills in order to handle diverse projects, often times simultaneously, and meet aggressive deadlines
Ability to solve technical problems / processes and understand complex details
Ability to analyze complex situations and problems and do the necessary research using multiple sources of information to arrive at innovative solutions
$43.60 - $48.25 per hour
Full COVID-19 vaccination may be required.
