OceanFirst Bank Staff Accountant II in Red Bank, New Jersey

Understanding of and the ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint -- knowledge of Power BI a plus.
Reliable, dependable, and maintain a degree of flexibility.
Demonstrated ability to inclusively collaborate with others to solve problems.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Accounting required.
1.5-3 years of internal experience in Accounting, or 2-3 years of external experience in Accounting or related field required.
Eligible to sit for the Certified Public Accounting exam.
INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL CONTACTS
Maintains frequent contact with the accounting department, other departments, and senior management.
Maintains occasional contact with consultants and auditors.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Hybrid work environment and ability to travel throughout the Company's footprint.
