• Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice product engineering; planning vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance

• Process design and implement for safety and productivity (Man/Machine/Material Logistics/Work Instruction development)

• Lead, motivate, communicate with, develop, appraise and performance manage staff to ensure staff are fully motivated to achieve best performance to meet the company’s needs.

• Co-ordinate production information to a written program to ensure company targets are met for a controlled and cost effective finish to the sites.

• Production of engineering site feasibilities as instructed by the land department, with liaison with heads of department & outside authorities and agencies to ensure complies with the required standards and business needs.

• Assessment of potential developments and production of detailed technical reports, including site visits with the appropriate members of the management team to ensure the best cost engineered solution

• Coordinate and direct projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.

• Analyze technology, resource needs, and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.

• Plan and direct the installation of testing, facilities and equipment.

• Direct, review, and approve product design and changes

• Recruit employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their work; and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence

• Develop and implement policies, standards and procedures for the engineering and technical work performed in the department, service, laboratory or firm.

• Perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, approving expenditures, enforcing rules, and making decisions about the purchase of materials or services.

• Review and recommend or approve contracts and cost estimates.

• Set scientific and technical goals within broad outlines provided by top management.

• Administer highway planning, construction, and maintenance

• Confer with and report to officials and the public to provide information and solicit support for projects.

• Participate safety work team and make an effort to improve safety issues in plant and responsible for complying with safety rules and procedures

• Any other: Task or understanding given or instructed from time to time by supervisor and the company.
