Title:
Electrical Specialist
Bachelor’s Engineering degree in respective trade (12+4 years)
05 years relevant experience in Fertilizer industry /Oil & Gas/Petrochemical and competency*
High level technical competency in respective trade, Communication, Report writing, Critical problem analysis Leadership, team management
Large scale contract execution.
Conceptual and thorough technical competency. - Thorough understanding and correct interpretation of the relevant technical documents – Engineering calculations, Isometrics, Drawings, layout, P&ID, datasheets etc.
Direct and guide team to perform maintenance activity as necessary.
Planning and scheduling methods, systems, tools
Use of correct and appropriate tools, methods, and resources for given activities.
Problem analysis and Root cause solving Problem methods, systems, tools.
Report writing, presentation
Shall have a working knowledge of MS Office (at least Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Responsible for study, design, specification and services related to electrical and electronic systems including power generation, transmission and distribution, power systems performance and control, cabling and wiring, lighting, motor control centers, communications systems, cathodic protection, grounding lightning protection, heat tracing etc. Under direct supervision, evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications. With additional experience within one functional area, assists in the design of larger and more complex assignments which involve conventional types of plans, investigations and surveys with relatively few complex features for which there are precedents.
