Position Summary:

You will play a critical role in driving Facilities Management within our 24/7/365 CAR-T manufacturing operation. You will be responsible for ensuring a quality, safe, compliant, and productive workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Facilities quality, safety, compliance, and performance, ensuring a high level of customer service.

  • Manage and coordinate vendor relationships, including contract details, performance evaluations, and ongoing communication.

  • Coordinate and manage facility shutdowns, ensuring minimal disruption to operations by effectively scheduling, allocating resources, and mitigating risks.

  • Address day-to-day operational needs promptly, resolving issues to maintain continuity and efficiency.

  • Develop and implement strategies for operational excellence, cost reduction, and facility optimization.

  • Interact with site and corporate leaders to represent Facilities and provide updates on facility-related matters.

  • Lead meetings with site occupants to communicate site services changes.

  • Recognize and communicate emerging site issues to ensure timely resolution.

  • Lead diverse teams through change and organizational transformation.

  • Support Project Development and Delivery teams on capital and infrastructure projects.

  • Serve as primary site liaison for Environmental Health & Safety compliance (as appropriate)

Qualifications

Education:

  • University/Bachelor's degree is required. Field of study in Engineering, Facilities Management, or Architecture is highly preferred.

Required:

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience

  • Knowledgeable in utility-based systems such as HVAC, chilled water, steam, compressed air, etc.

  • Strong skillset with HVAC systems, Building Controls and Monitoring systems

  • Use computer skills, demonstrating proficiency in MS Office Suite and CMMS

  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, including the ability to present to small groups

Preferred:

  • Critical GMP/GLP regulated experience

  • Experience within healthcare / pharmaceutical environment

  • Demonstrated knowledge in technical and business areas

  • Budget/financial leadership skills

  • Documented success in achieving project goals

  • Strong record of local collaboration ensuring completion of projects and people development

Other:

  • Up to 10% domestic/international travel may be required

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $99,000 to $170,000.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.

Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

  • Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year

  • Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year

  • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year

  • Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
