Actalent Project Engineer in Rancho Cordova, California
Description:
• Be part of a team of engineers and scientists developing designs required to implement removal and remedial actions for cleanup of environmentally impacted sites and abandoned mines.
• Work with a team to perform engineering design, develop plans, specifications, and cost estimating.
• Support engineering alternative evaluations for removal and remedial actions at abandoned mines.
• Support pilot studies of new technologies and approaches for mine clean up.
• Provide construction oversight of design implementation by construction contractors.
• Oversee field construction activities and be familiar with heavy equipment, construction means and methods, and management activities.
• Communicate with client and contractors in the field during construction; serve as liaison between field and sr engineers in office.
• Manage projects, budgets and teams.
