Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the A/R Billing Supervisor, the A/R Billing Rep III is responsible for providing timely and efficient follow-up with all payer types for all unpaid claims, consistent with the Mission and Philosophy of Dignity Health Medical Foundation.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
4 years experience working in healthcare Rev Cycle or a Professional Medical Office.
1 year experience with IDX Practice management system.
High School Diploma.
Knowledge of physician billing regulations.
Understanding of professional claims and billing procedures.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Working knowledge of computers -- demonstrated proficiency in email systems, internet and office software applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
6 years experience working in healthcare Rev Cycle or a Professional Medical Office.
1 year experience with Cerner EHR.
AA/AS degree in Healthcare Administration or related field.
Strong MS Excel skills to interpret and analyze high volume of data.
Knowledge of Google Suite.
Pay Range
$20.71 - $28.48 /hour
