MECHANICAL ASSEMBLER $20/HR TO $21/HR START ASAP!!!
Job Description
The candidate will be responsible for brazing copper to copper piping using an oxyacetylene torch on a daily basis. Each unit is custom-made, requiring precise cutting of piping to length and brazing it together according to customer specifications. The role includes working off of blueprints as needed and assisting in assembling the houses that these racks sit in. The position involves a lot of physical activity, including bending, kneeling, and twisting throughout the day.
Responsibilities
Brazing copper to copper piping using an oxyacetylene torch
Cutting piping to specified lengths
Working off of blueprints to assemble custom units
Assisting in the assembly of housing racks
Performing physical activities such as bending, kneeling, and twisting
Essential Skills
Mechanical assembly
Brazing
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Proficient use of hand tools
Ability to use a tape measure accurately
Additional Skills & Qualifications
3+ months of mechanical assembly, complex machine operation, or construction experience
Experience with MIG welding on mild steel is a plus
mechanical aptitude, such as repairing machinery or working on cars
Plumbing or entry-level welding experience is beneficial

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
