Robert Half Senior Data Scientist in Raleigh, North Carolina
Description
We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist who will build and deploy large language models (LLM) for in-house legal applications, manage legal documents and collaborate with legal experts to ensure models meet domain needs. The candidate will also conduct model performance experiments to enhance improvements and will partner with the development team on new product requirements. A strong Python background is required along with knowledge of machine learning concepts and tools, cloud platforms, data modeling principles, and both relational and NoSQL databases. Experience in API development, containerization, machine learning deployment, and AI Ops is highly preferred.

Must have formal training in machine learning, including dimensionality reduction, clustering, embeddings, and sequence classification algorithms.
Should have experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, Tensorflow, and Hugging Face Transformers.
Requires practical experience with Natural Language Processing methods and libraries such as BERT, Flair, PyTorch, spaCy, word2vec, TensorFlow, Keras.
Experience with large language models, including prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and benchmarking, using frameworks like LangChain and LlamaIndex is required.
Proficiency in using Python or other related platforms for data science tasks is critical.
