NC State Campus Enterprises Rave! Catering - Sales Office Assistant in Raleigh, North Carolina

Campus Enterprises Mission: Campus Enterprises is NC State University’s division of retail and hospitality organizations — NC State Dining and Catering, NC State Stores, Lonnie Poole Golf Course, NC State Student Centers (Witherspoon and Talley), and the One Card Office. Each department is dedicated to providing service excellence, value and enrichment of the student experience in support of academic success.

Purpose: Provide vital support to Campus Enterprises and NC State Dining by providing an excellent dining experience for all guests.

Location:  Talley Student Centers

Work Schedule: 20 hours per week between 8am and 5pm, Monday-Friday with some flexibility

Compensation: Starting wage $10.75/hr (Tier 2) with opportunity for raises based on years of service within Campus Enterprises. Dining and Catering employees earn free meals and are eligible for an end-of-semester bonus.

Essential functions and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Develop a detailed knowledge of each Sales Coordinators responsibilities to ensure phone and catering

  inquiries are routed to the appropriate representative.

  • Support Sales Coordinators by gathering event information from the client when they are unavailable to talk

      the client.

  • Answering phone inquiries in a professional and timely manner.

  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and a clean work environment at all times.

  • Complete 72-hours calls to all clients who have scheduled events with Rave! to discuss the details and ensure

       that the information that we have is accurate and communicate needed changes with the Sales Team.

  • Deliver updated Banquet Event Orders to the Executive Chefs and Purchasing Specialist as needed for events

      within 72  hours.

  • Remain in compliance with Rave! Catering student employee policies and expectations at all times.

Essential Qualifications

Ability to communicate professionally with supervisors, clients and team members in both written and verbal

communication.

Ability to work with a team to serve a diverse population

Must attend mandatory student employee orientation and training sessions
