Perform construction materils testing in the laboratory for soils, aggregates, concrete, masonry and asphalt.

Responsibilities
    Performs tests in conformance with established guidelines and standard specifications, such as those set forth by ASTM, AASHTO, ACI, etc.
  • Familiarity with and ability to comprehend applicable ASTM/AASHTO standards.
  • Assist with laboratory accreditation efforts, including quality document, audits and proficiency samples
  • Ensure that samples are handled, tested and reported in accordance with the standards and specifications.
  • Maintain annual laboratory accreditations. (AMRL/CCRL/AASHTO/ISO)
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50-70 pounds
Qualifications
  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • ACI certification a plus.
  • Valid CA Driver's License.

The pay range for this New York position is $25.00- $35.00 per hour; however, base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. This information is provided in accordance with NY Senate Bill S1326. Base pay information is based on market location. Applicants should apply via the NV5 careers site.
