Companies of J.J. Young Staffing is looking for multiple experienced Material Handlers for a local company. This position can be long term depending on employee's work performance.The position of Materials Handler is responsible for daily production support and cleaning, as well as distribution of raw materials and finished products and accurate processing of inbound and outbound materials.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Aids in handling inbound and outbound materials- Maintains warehouse cleanliness- Prepare outbound shipments of finished goods and recyclables.- Daily production support including, but not limited to, palletizing and wrapping pallets.- Follow product segregation, storage, and line clearance procedures.- Operates box packer including adding required materials and performing required cleaning. - Recognize technical problems that require assistance from maintenance or engineering support and obtain required support.- Aids in scrapping of non-saleable bottlesQualifications and Education:- 1+ years of demonstrated experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or warehouse environment.- Minimum of high school diploma/GED preferredSkills/Knowledge/Licenses/Certifications:- Fork lift experience and certification preferred- Valid driver’s license preferredPhysical/Work Requirements:- Exposure to varying conditions in the office, lab, warehouse, production room and conex box environments- Able to routinely lift up to 30lbs and occasionally lift up to 55lbs
Minimum Salary: 18 Maximum Salary: 25 Salary Unit: Hourly
