AAA Staffing Company Quality Control in Putnam, Connecticut

Inspectors examine products and materials for defects or deviations from specifications

.

Removes or discards all products and equipment that fail to meet specifications

As well as, adheres manufacturing/quality processes including testing, quality and documenting to ensure product meets specified criteria contained in the work orders/specifications/IL form. This position also works in our environmentally controlled/white room.

    1. Performs incoming, in-process and final inspections at random to access product quality.
    2. Inspect and test materials and/or product manufactured b y measuring product dimensions, examining functionality, and comparing the results to the quality expectations.
    3. Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations.
    4. Identify and label material and/or product which is potentially non-conforming (fails to meet quality expectations).
    5. Perform quality inspections using a variety of measurement devices, fixtures and equipment including, but not limited to: Tape Measure, Pin Gauges, Laser Micrometers, Magnifiers and Vision Systems.

Completes documentation in a timely, accurate and neat manner. 3. Satisfies documentation, labeling, inspection, and QAD transaction requirements. 4. Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records. 5. Tracks time spent on inspection activities per work order. 6. Responsible for confirming (by signing off on) inspection activities performed.

Adheres to all housekeeping standards and ensures workspace is clean, safe, and in working order within assigned area/s, as well as, to prevent product contamination. 2. Attention to detail, must be able to complete multiple and repetitive tasks, must be committed to accuracy and quality. 3. Check that all equipment, fixtures, and measurement devices used are within their calibration dates before use. 4. Use only the specified equipment, fixtures, and measurement devices specified within the Quality Inspection Plan (QIP). 5. Review the work order packet for completeness, checking to match required information Product code (5P), Lot #, Order quantity, Revision #s, etc.

Adheres to safety requirements/practices/procedures as required, including required PPE/Clothing on the plant floor.

Respect and follow workplace safety rules including, but not limited to, proper handling practices of chemicals per procedures, maintaining safe work practices, follow LOTO and HAZMAT polices, refer to SDS when applicable, and apply information found to the task at hand.
