The team you will be a part of:
The Business Process team develops, implements and sustains cross-functional process improvement projects and business-wide improvement initiatives including training, mentoring, and consulting with Black Belts, Champions, and Green Belts. Identifies, suggests and implements best practices to facilitate best solutions and methods that will optimize processes in all areas of the business.
This role in summary:
Its a New refrigeration development, Brown field project involving reconstruction, shifting etc. Requires a Project Manager with greenfield and brownfield experience. An Industrial engineer is preferred who will be part of core committee.
Project Management:
Regular Interaction with Marketing & Technology Teams for the requirements
Regular Interaction with Global Teams to be updated on latest developments & Best practices across region
Regular Interaction with Suppliers for technology & competitor best practices updates
Exposure to Layout Re-Engineering of Mfg process
Budget estimation for New Projects & Product Launch with related Infra, Tooling & Equipments modification
Management Approvals with B/C Evalaution
Prepare RFQ, gather Quotations, evaluate supplier options, build consensus to move forward
Monitor activities from Equipment ordering to Installation
Monitor and adhere Project Budget expenditure
Factory Master Plan:
Develop FMP in line with Future Market requirements
Capacity Balance Chart for future
Initiate Projects to improve Operational Efficiencies
Idea generation for Automation in line with Industry 4.0
Space Management : utilization improvement opportunities identification & execution
Your responsibilities will include:
Early Equipment/Product Management:
Identify Existing pains of Manufacturing and generate(update) Database reference for New Products / Equipment
Identify Waste Activities across Shop floor to develop mitigation plan through New Product / Equipment introduction
Learn & establish Early Equipment / Product Management Methodology as per WCM & WPD principles
New Product Introduction:
Cross Functional interaction & Manufacturing Interface with Marketing & Technology to deliver New Introductions
Manufacturing feasibility of New Changes
Andon management for Manufacturing challenges / Work Content leading to bottleneck
Work Content reduction opportunities thru DFMEA & EPM approach
Strategic Justifications for Make Vs Buy decisions based on FMP
Design & Install facilities with First Time Right approach
PFMEA, PCP & PFC for NPI / EPI Activities
Shop Floor Management:
Interact with Shop floor team to identify improvement opportunities
Ensure cohesiveness while working with CFT
Conduct training sessions to the relevant peoples
Minimum requirements:
B.E. / M.E. (NIT/Equivalent Preferred), industrial or automobile preferred
Experience: 10 - 15 Years
