Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. (SEL) seeks professional, innovative and detailed individuals for our Software Engineer -- Firmware position located at our headquarters in Pullman, Washington.
The Software Engineer -- Firmware develops the specifications, designs, implements, and documents a wide range of software and firmware products developed by SEL. The incumbent will apply the principles of electrical and computer engineering and computer science in (1) writing test plans; (2) conducting design tests; (3) preparing and maintaining test and design documentation; (4) reviewing data sheets and instruction manuals; (5) undertaking to improve SEL's research and development processes; (6) mentoring associate engineers and technicians; and (7) participating in industry technical meetings and conferences as required to meet operational and strategic goals.
