Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories Engineering Manager I - Protection Systems Software in Pullman, Washington

Our software is the primary interface for SEL protective relays. In this role, you will lead software development efforts for safety critical hardware/software systems as part of a team dedicated to producing solutions that delight customers.

The Protection Systems Services software team is responsible for developing and maintaining robust, user-friendly solutions that ensure customers experience SEL protection products as having the world’s best quality, usability, reliability, and approachability.   • Academic achievements are important, but we’re flexible for passionate software leaders. It’s simpler if you have a B.S. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or the equivalent. An advanced degree is even better.

  • Of course, we build critical infrastructure, so you’ll need to have background check results that are satisfactory to SEL and negative drug test result(s).

    Pay Range Data

We anticipate filling this position as an Engineering Manager $116,000 –$142,000. Our salary ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
