About The Role

We are seeking an EXPERIENCED, TALENTED and ENTHUSIASTIC individual to oversee our Loan Support Team. This position is responsible for auditing the completion and accuracy of data being entered into the bank operating system for quality control review following the guidelines spelled out in the GBCI SOX Control guides. IT identifies documents and follows up for corrections when company standards have not been met in accordance with the GBCI standards for new loan and maintenance input. Responsible for the completion of 2nd review of all Commercial Loan Application Adverse Actions. Assist in review and data input to the HMDA LAR. Understands GL Balancing and core system functions. Provides support to Loan Operations Manager and various duties assigned to them. The salary range for this position is $52,000.00-$60,000.00 per year. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage direct reports to maximize productivity, efficiency, and the potential of the human assets of the company, including: hiring, directing job assignments, monitoring staff performance, coaching, counseling, training, assuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational mission, values, policies and work rules. Appraise performance and provide recommendations for staff compensation, promotion, and termination, as appropriate Responsible for conducting the daily ongoing "quality control" functions: Review of the daily Critical Loan File Maintenance report as instructed in the GBCI Loan File Maintenance SOX Control Guide to identify employees creating maintenance changes and ensure the accuracy of data being input or changed within the Bank Operating System. Verify the input of data for all New Loans and Change in Terms by comparing the system entries to the signed Promissory Note or CIT Document as well as validating loan codes assigned by the Lender as part of GBCI's New Loan Report SOX Control Guide. Review disbursement entries relating to New Loans or CITs to ensure funds have been disbursed accurately and to the correct General Ledger Accounts. Communicate daily with the Loan Operations Team to direct them and provide support and understanding to eliminate potential errors in the loan system that could affect the bank's relationship with their customers. Timely completion of the New Loan Log and the Critical Maintenance Log to meet the GBCI SOX Control requirements. Complete the 2nd Review Checklist for all commercial applications that are denied or denied with a counteroffer to ensure the reasons for denial and the documentation on the notices are accurate prior to the Adverse Action Notice being mailed to applicant, following the instruction and timing requirements set forth in the GBCI Adverse Action Guide. Work with Loan Operations Manager reviewing Compliance audits on Adverse Actions in order to address any issues. Work closely with Loan Operations Manager to ensure all loan operations functions run smoothly. Review and management of various daily / monthly GBCI reports along with other QC staff. Manages and updates data within the Great Data Report to ensure Bank Operating System accuracy. Provide information presented through the GBCI Expert Emails to appropriate loan staff through written correspondence. Assist Loan Operations Manager in reviewing appropriate systems and documentation to provide accurate data to the HMDA LAR on a bi-weekly basis. Provide support in balancing various GL Accounts as needed Understands and provides guidance within the core system to support in booking new loans, CITs, creating CIFs, etc. Perform a sampling review of Construction Loan Draws monthly. Report findings to Loan Operations Manager. Act as a point f contact for Construction Loans and monitoring reporting in Built. Manage the review of the Loan Advance Procedure. Point of contact for GBCI Reimbursements and manages the monthly tasks according to the Reimbursement Procedure for Consumer, Commercial, and Mortgage loans. Provides support to Loan Operations Managers by learning various duties assigned to them. To include review and update of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports generated through COGNOS as well as manual reports as required. Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Complete required bank training courses within assigned time frame(s). It is the individual learner responsibility to ensure that they understand the information given to them in each training. If the learner does not understand the information given they need to reach out to their supervisor for further clarification or additional training.
